Services: Lifelong Learning

The Lifelong Learning Team in Dublin South City Partnership provides and promotes free educational activities in your local community.

We work across the age range from early years to young people to adult education.

Education is far much more than learning a new skill or new information. It is about getting involved what is going on, looking outside of yourself. It is about people connecting with each other within their communities, people sharing common interests, people following their own interests, people finding new interests and looking beyond the familiar. Sometimes it’s to increase options for employment and sometimes it’s not. Sometimes it’s for personal development and support.

We are funded by the SICAP programme – which stands for social inclusion and community activation, and with that we are particularly focussed on trying to make sure that we work to remove barriers that often make it harder for people to access education opportunities.

Whether you would like to learn to train your dog, learn about gardening, try out Communiversity, makeup, mindfulness, take part in an Irish conversation group, or gain qualifications for employment, we can support you.
Our courses are delivered in a safe, friendly, positive environment by passionate, experienced trainers who are ready to share their skills and knowledge with you.

We want you to enjoy learning!
